Michelle’s maternity session took place at my studio, just before the due date for the arrival of her baby girl who was expected to join the family on May 5th, 2017.  Michelle had a smooth pregnancy with a few ups and downs. Her favourite things of this pregnancy have been, “feeling the kicks and movements.  Going to really miss that part.  Big cravings for burgers and McDonalds hot chocolate and milkshakes.”

Michelle was going for a natural, casual and relaxed look to the maternity photos and wasn’t self-conscious about anything going into the session.  This always makes for the best possible outcome for the session when you can be relaxed, worry-free and can enjoy the experience.  She loved the variety of maternity outfits and selected beautiful dresses: emerald green, black shear and white lace.  She had a wonderful experience during the maternity session, and said she “loved all the pampering.  The makeup artist was great and I loved the selection of clothing to wear”.

Michelle’s one piece of advice for other expecting mother’s having a session is to “relax and enjoy”.  Michelle was totally at ease behind the camera and it was clear to see that it was a fun experience for her and her girls, Azure-lee & Jessalyn.  I really enjoy getting the whole family behind the camera, and especially liked capturing images of Michelle’s husband reading to their girls.  Since he works all day, tucking the girls in bed and reading to them is his special time with them.

Michelle went on to give meaningful feedback about the session stating, “Jennifer is amazing with other siblings. Go with the flow and you’ll love what she comes up with.”

Nothing makes me happier than for my clients to be thrilled with the ideas for our session and see the end result be even better than what they expected or imagined.  Michelle and her husband, Chris, have already chosen the name “Brielle” for their baby girl. They said, “We both fell in love with the name and meaning. It means God is my Strength.”  What a wonderful choice and it was lovely to be with your whole family during this time of anticipation for the arrival of little Brielle.  Wishing you all many blessings ahead!
