Peter & Nalini’s engagement session took place on May 28th at Jack Darling Memorial Park in Mississauga. This was a new location for the both of us, and it did not disappoint.
Overlooking views of the city of Toronto, these two played a game of Scrabble together while enjoying some classically Canadian Tim Horton’s coffee. They thought the water and scenery were beautiful and the park was the perfect setting to display their romance and playful nature! It was an awesome experience to be behind the lens watching these lovebirds strolling hand in hand along the trail, surrounded by greenery and looking out across Lake Ontario.
The connection these two shared was clearly visible. Peter & Nalini met online at match.com and have been a perfect match ever since! Peter proposed to Nalini, at his condo, after a nice dinner out. He surprised her with a slide show of their journey up until their engagement. Talk about sweet!
The couple went on to have a surprise wedding which was the most exciting memory from their special day. How cool! They chose the Paradise Banquet Halls for their wedding ceremony and reception. They went back twice and loved the Prince Room both times as it was the perfect spot for them.
Peter & Nalini dressed in jeans for this engagement session, as they were going for a casual and fun look to this session. It turned out to be a fantastic choice and made the attire ‘just right’ in this park setting. After our session, I asked them what their favourite part of their session was. Their response was, “Meeting you and getting to know about you and your style”. It’s important to have a high level of comfort with your photographer, so you can be relaxed and free to be yourself in your session.
Their tip or advice for other couples about to have their engagement session? “Relax and be yourself! Make it personal to you.” I couldn’t agree more. Their overall experience was ‘Wonderful! Jennifer made us feel at ease from the moment we met her!”. Thank you Peter & Nalini; that is my goal each shoot and it was a honour to be a part of this special session. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness ahead!
