So what do you do when your best photog friend’s boyfriend messages you asking if you photograph proposals?  You say “YES!” and immediately start googling the most perfect waterfall proposal spot in Dundas!

Steve came up with the perfect plan to get Sandy to the secret proposal location (spoiler alert – we went here).  Once there, him and I texted back and forth to make sure I wasn’t seen and he was in the perfect spot before dropping to one knee!

I couldn’t wait to hop out from behind the trees as soon as she said “Yes!”

After all the “wait!  what are you doing here?” (let’s be honest, it was more of a “good! I’m so  glad you were here to photograph that!  I told him I wanted you here!” LOL), we hugged it out and explored the waterfall area a bit more.  We even had time to take a few posed photos of this newly engaged couple!

Side note, her engagement ring is actually rose gold with a stunning ruby gemstone!  I’ll be sharing a color detail photo of the ring when we do their actual engagement session so keep your eyes open for that!  It’s coming and word on the street is it’s going to be pretty amazing!
