Jamie and Julie contacted me hoping I had availability for their June backyard wedding at their home just outside of Brantford.  I’m so glad I still had their date open as intimate backyard weddings are fast becoming my favourite type of wedding!

The whole wedding took place at Jamie’s home.  The backyard had been newly landscaped down near the big (giant!) pond that could double post wedding as a patio and fire pit.  They had a large tent in the back for dinner and it was absolutely perfect!  The many mature trees on their property also provided the perfect backdrop for their photos!

Their two dogs were able to be a part of the wedding and they were so well behaved!

They had a legal officiant at the wedding to complete the legalization of the paperwork, but the ceremony itself was performed by their two close friends.  It made for a very special personalized ceremony!

Lancaster Smokehouse out of Kitchener catered the dinner and they were absolutely fantastic!  Their food was classic southern smokehouse.  The guests loaded up their plates and even after seconds there was still so much food left over!

After dinner, there were a few special speeches, but not before the maid of honour took one of the smaller wedding guests out for a spin on their mini dirt bike!

Congratulations again Jamie and Julie!  Your backyard wedding was absolutely perfect and full of so much love!
