June 30th, 2017 was a fabulous day for a surprise wedding in Vaughn, Ontario. Peter & Nalini told their guests that they planned to get married at the courthouse in a private ceremony and that they were invited to celebrate with them at the wedding reception on June 30th at the hall.

I met these two a few months earlier for their engagement session.  Click here to take a look at their gorgeous engagement session!

These two were wed at Paradise Banquet Hall and it was a breathtaking venue for their special big day. Lush greenery and stunning architecture was the perfect outdoor backdrop for capturing the love these two felt for eachother. The white pillars and romantic archways created photos full of light and love. It was an honour to photograph this couple as they held hands and shared candid moments behind the lens.

These two had such fun together all day long, along with their family and friends. It was a full-on celebration as their wedding guests enjoyed the delicious catering (provided by the venue), dancing, and striking silly poses in a photo booth full of playful props ( Fun Booths )! The Wedding House Inc. did all the flowers for the event and they did a fantastic job with gorgeous white arrangements.

The couple were anxious about how the surprise wedding would go, but were thrilled that the day was “perfect and magical”. In keeping with the surprise theme, Peter & Nalini chose to keep their wedding outfits a secret from one another until their big day. Such fun!

Nalini purchased her wedding gown from The One Bridal. She knew it was “the one” because it “felt and looked right” to her. She had tried on a handful of dresses before making her final decision and tells future brides to be “prepared to try on several dresses before you find the right one for you.”

After planning such a big wedding celebration, these two know a thing or two about what it takes to pull off a successful big day! The couple recommends “start the planning way in advance and work together on the details”. Their planning paid off, and their day was truly magical and perfect, just as they had wanted. It was an honour to share such special day with you both!
